Over the years many retailers have contacted us to inquire if we could assist them by developing new (best practice) or revising (to best practice) existing retail store operating procedures. The answer to that query is yes, and we have both developed new and/or refined procedures for almost every retail format operating today. That experience has permitted us to develop a large and robust library of operating procedure options and related best practice / optimal productivity recommendations.

In order to assist your organization, we have created a "sample listing" (Table of Contents) of operating procedures that we have documented for various previous retail clients. This list is not meant to represent "the complete list" of all retail store operating procedures available today, but instead to present a reasonably complete listing of procedures that your organization may wish to employ as a potential Table of Contents, when developing your procedures manual.

Our "sample listing" is meant to serve as a guide or menu, from which you can select potential topics for your procedures manual. This listing is presented in the four additional pages on this website - as listed in the sidebar on the top right. The four pages are employed to separate various topics, as shown below:

Page title:
  • Administration, Building & Systems
  • Customer Service & Store Operations
  • Financial & Security
  • Human Resources
